spot. . .In the UK the legal age for buying alcohol is 18.
Christians have differing views about drinking. Some Christians don’t drink
at all, believing it is wrong. Others believe that there is nothing wrong in
having the odd drink, but that it is only getting drunk that is a bad thing
— because it allows something other than God to be in control.
Some denominations, like the Salvation Army, choose not to allow its members
to drink at all. In so doing, they are taking a stand against addiction.
Many of the people the Salvation Army work with have had drug or alcohol
problems, and an alcohol-free pledge helps them to demonstrate the
possibility of living a happy, healthy life without alcohol.
Why not look the following verses up, and chat to Christians you know about
them.

You can read the story at John 2 verses 1-11.

“Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery, instead be filled with
the Holy Sprirt.”
